This is a guideline book detailing the workings of the signage and wayfinding system I designed for the 2011 Sheffield Hallam Degree show entitled Creative Spark.
Unfortunately I have no images of the signage from when it was installed, but this book highlights how it worked.
The typeface used is A2Type's Battersea Medium and the arrow is also part of the font, however I tweaked it slightly in this instance. The wayfinding was made up of a simple system of the type and arrows, the spacing for which can be seen on the cover-shot below.
Accompanying the signs were banner stands showing what part of the exibition was located on which floors of the buildings.
This book is hand bound using a singer-sewn binding method.
