Shop Fronts of Sheffield

An identity, blog and print materials for a user contributed photo blog which is run by myself.

Shop Fronts of Sheffield began in January 2011 as a simple photo blog (run on tumblr) with inspiration taken from London Shop Fronts. For the first few weeks I uploaded my own photographs of shop fronts I found interesting during my final year of University.
After a couple of months, through inviting visitors to the blog to submit their own photographs, the blog had gathered a fair amount of attention and there is now a wide variety of people sending in their photos.

I have since designed and put on sale an A2 print of the best of January—June 2011 and a set of 5 postcards available to buy online. Both are limited runs and function as both promotion and a means of generating revenue to build on the blog and its printed counter parts.
